Transportation in Mexico
In Mexico there are about 1,200 more unpaved airports than paved airports-(only 200) which says something about the economy. Most cars are older and most roads are unpaved dirt roads, the only place you can find paved roads are in major cities where there are lots of cars. Mexico only has one heliport and 17,166 kilometers of railways. Pipelines stretch all over carrying fuel such as gas, and oil. The reason why most roads and airports aren't paved is because Mexico's terrible infrastructure cannot afford it.
